Privacy Policy — Wreck the Block!

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Wreck the Block! is a virtual reality game distributed through the Meta Horizon Store. This privacy policy explains what information the game collects, how it is used, and how you can request deletion of your data.

1. Information We Collect

Wreck the Block! uses Meta Platform services to access certain information associated with your Meta account.

The game collects and processes the following information:

  • Meta User ID: Your Meta account's app-specific identifier, used to identify your leaderboard entries.
  • Profile information: Your Meta username (Oculus ID) and display name, used for player identification and leaderboard functionality.
  • Age category: Whether your account is categorized as Child, Teen, Adult, or Unknown. This determines whether online profile and leaderboard features are available. We do not request your date of birth or exact age.
  • Leaderboard information: Scores, rankings, and associated player identifiers received from Meta's leaderboard services.

Meta's SDK may also return additional profile information, such as profile picture URLs or presence information. The game does not actively use, download, or save these additional fields.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information is used only to support game functionality:

  • Account entitlement: Verify that your Meta account is entitled to access the game.
  • Age-appropriate features: Restrict online profile and leaderboard access based on the age category provided by Meta.
  • Leaderboards: Submit eligible game scores, display rankings, identify your own results, and show other players' public leaderboard usernames and scores.

Online profile and leaderboard features are available to eligible Teen and Adult accounts. They are unavailable to Child accounts or when age-category verification cannot be completed.

We do not use this information for advertising, marketing, or independent tracking.

3. Storage and Sharing

Meta account identifiers, profile names, and age categories are processed temporarily in memory. The game does not store these details in its local save files.

Game progress, high scores, achievements within the game, preferences, and tutorial completion information are stored locally on your headset, including local recovery copies.

Eligible leaderboard scores are submitted to and stored by Meta, associated with the account used to play the game. Other players may see your public leaderboard username, score, and ranking. If a username is unavailable, the game may display a generated player label derived from an account identifier.

We do not operate independent servers that collect or store your Meta account information. We do not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services.

Meta processes account, entitlement, and leaderboard information through its own platform services under Meta's applicable privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

Meta profile and age-category information is held temporarily during game operation and is not intentionally retained in local save files.

Locally stored game progress and preferences remain on your headset until the application data is cleared or otherwise removed by the device.

Leaderboard entries are retained by Meta according to its platform policies and applicable deletion procedures. We do not independently control Meta's retention periods.

Diagnostic information may include platform request results, errors, and online-service availability status, but the game does not intentionally record raw Meta account identifiers or profile names in its production diagnostics.

5. Data Deletion Requests

You can delete locally saved game progress and preferences by clearing Wreck the Block!'s application data through your Meta Quest headset's storage settings.

Using the game's "Start Over" feature does not delete all locally saved records, including previous best scores.

Clearing local application data or uninstalling the game does not automatically delete leaderboard entries stored by Meta.

To request deletion of your Wreck the Block! leaderboard data:

Email kelvin.cookers.4y@icloud.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your Meta username.

We may request additional information to verify your account and identify the correct leaderboard entries. We will review and process applicable deletion requests using Meta's available platform tools and notify you of the outcome.

If you continue playing after your leaderboard entries are deleted, new scores may be submitted.

Meta account details, profile information, age records, and any Meta-managed cloud backups must be managed separately through Meta's privacy and account controls.

6. Children's Privacy

Wreck the Block! uses the age category supplied by Meta to determine access to online features.

The game does not request a player's exact age or date of birth. Online profile and leaderboard features are disabled for accounts categorized as Child or whose age category cannot be verified.

The game does not independently collect children's personal information through developer-operated servers.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the game's features or data-handling practices change. The updated version will be published on this website with a revised date.
